It's been a busy year for Our Nights Recodings, and we are very proud of the work we did releasing quality tasty music during almost the whole 2013.
We started back in March releasing the first of two EP's wich compiled the tracks from Heion's 'So Much Soul' (originally released by Los Grandes) remixed. A melting pot of Nu Disco, Slomo and House tracks magistrally cooked by JKriv, Rocco Raimundo, Monsoon Season, Softmore, Andrew Clarke, Mushrooms Project and Dynamicron for the first EP and by Virgin Magnetic Material, Cottam, Trujillo & Bernardo Risquez, Soul Renegades, Dicky Trisco and Eddie C for the second one released later in June. The result is a devastating collection of 100% amazing tracks.
In between, on April, Lazy Kiss released with us 'Sunbreak', a mesmerizing solid four tracks EP of original Nu Disco wich drive you through a warm trip among analogue landscapes seasoned with tasty guitars and hip mover percussions. All this dressed on a elegant lively soundtrack feeling from head to toe. An unique mind blowing dance approach from the great brazilians Lazy Kiss.
On May, Our Nights delivered a single coming from the mexican producer Max Jones, 'Arabian Nightmare'. A Middle East inspired track with strong, solid presence wich has created heavy atmospheres and mayhem in clubs all around the world. Max Jones crafted this anthem making use just of the right elements on the production getting an unbeatable result.
The fifth release came out on August, Rubberlips 'Something Different This Time'. The whole EP is about of analog synthetic sounds, cinematic pianos, distant voices, emotional trumpets, strings and vibes to get an impressively great result wich it is not easy to achive. A different, indeed, and original perspective of the Nu Disco sound wich shapes a psychonautical disco journey.
One year after the release from Future Feelings 'Funk EP' through Los Grandes, on November, Our Nights gathers the skills from Fernando Pulichino, Heion, L’Equipe du Son, Modulaire and Dynamicron for the remixing tasks. Every producer invloved drive the tracks to their fields making a quality combination of tracks wich keep the spirit of the genuine original EP alive.
